BTS's Rap Monster Releases New Digital Single In Collaboration With Upcoming Blockbuster Movie 'Fantastic Four'

BTS's Rap Monster continues to add to his impressive list of collaborations, this time releasing a single with Hollywood blockbuster Fantastic Four.

Rap Monster's (real name Kim Namjoon) next digital single "Fantastic" is a fast rhythmed song filled with powerful lyrics. "Because the movie was created on an overwhelming scale and has so many compelling visuals I wanted to create an exciting song that is also full of tension," Rap Monster said in a report by Busan Ilbo.

It has also been said that the song was inspired by the agony and trauma experienced by the movie's superheroes.

Fantastic Four is a reboot of the Fantastic Four film franchise, originally released in 2005. It is based off of the Marvel Comics series of the same name. The story follows four young adults who teleport into an alternate universe. As a result, their physical forms are altered and they are given new powers.

Rap Monster's last collaboration was with hip-hop producer and rapper Warren G. Their track "P.D.D (Please Don't Die)" was released earlier this year in March. Since then, Rap Monster has collaborated with other top Korean hip hop artists such as MFTBTY, Primary, and Yankie. He has released his own solo mixtape titled RM.

Rap Monster and his group, BTS (also known as Bangtan Boys), recently wrapped up the U.S. leg of their Red Bullet World Tour. The group's first performance, at the Best Buy Theater in New York City, was unexpectedly cut short due to a reported death threat delivered over Twitter that had been aimed at the rapper.

"Fantastic" was released on August 4 via various Korean music portals like Melon, Genie, and Naver music.
