Demi Lovato debuted her new haircut on via Twitter Tuesday night.

It is a much shorter 'do for "X-Factor" judge Demi Lovato, who usually sports much longer locks.

She shared an Instagram picture of her haircut with her 12 million followers on Twitter.

In the self-portrait, the 20-year-old singer-actress is seen looking into a mirror and smiling sweetly. Demi Lovato's haircut is sleek and goes to her shoulders.

Demi looks to have cut about six inches off the length of her hair. She has also added some side-swept bangs. Her hair looks so healthy and shiny.

In an interview with Allure magazine last year, Lovato shared some of her secrets to keeping her hair looking so good. "I really love deep conditioning my hair," she said. "And I wait as long as I can before I need to wash my hair. I think that's the best thing girls can do for their hair because washing it a lot makes your scalp really dry."

The look is fresh and cute, and it reminiscent of her appearance during her "Sonny with a Chance" days.

Demi is expected to return as a judge for season 3 of "X-Factor." There are also some collaborations being talked about as her career continues to soar.

In an interview with Hollywood Life, the young star said about a possible project with Fifth Harmony, "I am always open to collaborations, and I would like to show these girls a 'Thank you,' and show them how much they have done for me. If I can help in [an] album in any way or to collaborate since they are so down to earth girls."

In addition to her new haircut, Demi also recently revealed her new "Heart Attack" single to fans on Ryan Seacrest's radio show a couple weeks ago.

And who knows how long this haircut will last. The singer has mentioned that he loves to play around with her hairstyle in the Allure interview, "I love changing my hair a lot-I think it's fun."
