SISTAR Drive Fans Wild With Sexy, Energetic Set At KCON 2015 In Los Angeles

2015 is turning out to be the summer of SISTAR! The sexy girl group appeared as one of three female acts for KCON 2015 in Los Angeles. As veteran performers, they put on an impressive set of five songs, showcasing their iconic dance moves as much as their high-flying melodies.

Rising out of the stage floor amidst wild screaming from the audience, members Bora, Dasom, Soyou and Hyolyn struck poses in some of the most famous S-lines in South Korea. Dressed in alluringly glitter-spangled outfits of short shorts, crop tops and high heels, they launched into their recent summer ear candy track, "Shake It." This song was everywhere at KCON L.A. this year, featuring in dance workshops, playing inside the convention hall and appearing as part of the set of concert opening act and KCON fan favorite, Jun Sung Ahn.

It was thrilling to see finally the live version, along with their second song, "Touch My Body," which featured a solo dance interlude from each member.

Though they stumbled a little bit through the English introduction, all was forgotten when they began "Lead Me," a ballad track off their 2012 EP, Alone. Dubbed South Korea's Beyonce, Hyolyn led this song with her soaring vocals, but Soyou held her own.

Next was "Loving U," with its characteristic hip gyrations, but their final song, "Ma Boy," brought down the house. Originally sung by sub-group SISTAR19, "Ma Boy" has a centerpiece dance of sultry body rolls performed during the chorus, which drove the KCON audience crazy.

Much has been said of SISTAR's sexiness but watching them perform live really hits home the fact that they are not just beautiful women but also very talented singers and dancers.
