K-pop idol group INFINITE was appointed as honorary ambassadors for the 2015 Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo (KBEE).

"We feel very honored to be chosen as the ambassadors of KBEE," commented member Kim Sungkyu. "We will take pride in our title and do our best."

"We sincerely hope this expo can lead to the establishment of stronger Korea-China relations and increased exchanges," Sungkyu added.

In order to celebrate their appointment, the seven INFINITE members participated in making eco-friendly bags to donate to Chinese welfare organizations.

During the Expo, which will be held from August 27 to August 29, INFINITE will hold a bag donation ceremony as well as a special press interview and an opening performance. They will also participate in several promotional events programmed to publicize Hallyu (the Korean Wave) and facilitate exchanges among Korea and China's cultural industries.

The KBEE will take place in Shanghai, China this year.
