Shinhwa's Jun Jin Prepares Return As Soloist With New EP Due Out This Year

Shinhwa's Jun Jin (Park Choong Jae) is going to return soon as a soloist.

On Friday, August 7, a source close to the popular singer confirmed his solo comeback to MBN Star.

"The rumors are correct that Jun Jin will make a solo comeback with a mini album," said the source, as reported by Soompi.

"He is planning to promote his song through music shows," he added.

No official date for the new EP has been released yet.

The 34-year-old showcased his amazing voice with his first solo single titled "Love Doesn't Come" in November 2006.

While preparations for the new EP are underway, Jun Jin and the other members of Shinhwa are preparing to hold their 17th anniversary encore concert at the Seoul Olympic Park on August 22 and 23.

The group also performed at North America's largest Hallyu convention, KCON 2015, in Los Angeles, California this past weekend.
