Luhan Continues Preparations For Solo Debut In China Despite Ongoing Lawsuit With SM Entertainment

SM Entertainment seems to have its hands full these days with several ongoing negotiations and lawsuits with various idols signed to their label.

Luckily for fans however, the show continues on.

Or so that is the case for former EXO member Luhan, who is continuing preparation for his solo album release despite the ongoing lawsuit with SM Entertainment. According to reports, Luhan's album will be entitled "Reloaded," and is currently in the "countdown phase" of the album's creation.

A few weeks ago, Luhan announced via his personal Weibo account that he was preparing to release an album.

"I started recording a new album. I'm a bit nervous, a bit uneasy, and a bit tired. But much more than that, I'm excited. I'll see you on stage," said Luhan (via Allkpop).

Luhan has since previewed a music video for his album on his official studio Weibo account, Deer Han Studio. The photos are black and white depictions of a crew shooting outdoors, a monitor in a case, and Luhan holding a camera.

The final picture Luhan uploaded was one of himself forming the motion of shooting a gun with his hand and forearm. Apparently, "Reloaded" could be referencing the mechanism of a gun.

Luhan's album release will likely have to be on hold until late August as his first court date with SM Entertainment is now set for Aug. 19. Koreaboo reports that the court date was announced after Luhan and SM Entertainment could not reach an agreement outside of court.

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment will also go to court with former EXO member Kris, with his court date set for Sept. 2.

The legal dispute may have now reached its 10 month mark, but it looks like Luhan has every intention of continuing to perform.
