Anderson Cooper got quite the surprise Friday when Bigfoot frightened him on set.
On his show, Anderson Live, Anderson Cooper was in the middle of an discussion with Indian-American chef Padma Lakshmi, when Bigfoot snuck up and scared the living daylights out of them.

As Cooper and Lakshmi were talking, a person in a Bigfoot costume lurched across the stage and appeared behind the two giving the talk show host the scare of his life.
Cooper immediately jumped up from his seat shouting, "Whoa Jesus! Good Lord!" then nervously walked away from the Bigfoot and across the set.
The huge reaction to the fright is particularly shocking when one considers the countless dangerous situations Cooper has been in.
During his career as a newsman, he has stood in the midst of fighting and bomb explosions in war torn areas countless times. Yet, surprisingly enough, while Cooper has managed to maintain composure in those terrifying situations, his audience witnessed a much bigger reaction from a man in a silly costume.
Anderson may have jumped up and screamed, but Lakshmi was equally terrified by Bigfoot.
After the Bigfoot left the stage, Lakshmi admitted that she peed her pants "a little."
It was recently reported that Anderson Live will end its two-season run on TV this summer.
This does not mean the loveable Cooper will be unemployed, however. He appears on CNN as the primary anchor for Anderson Cooper 360.
Rumors have also been circulating that Anderson Cooper is being considered as Alex Trebek's replacement as the host of Jeopardy.
"Cooper is "the most prominent openly gay journalist on American television," according to The New York Times and has had a successful journalism career and has won many awards for his reporting.
