Good news for "Ted" fans as the comedic film franchise is set to have a third installment in "Ted 3." But the question is, who will be back and who will be out?

Well, one thing for certain is "Flash Gordon's" Sam Jones will reprise his role and he also confirmed that "Ted 3" is actually happening. (Via Perez Hilton.com)

"Ted 2 comes out June 26. I just signed on for Ted 3. We're moving onwards and upwards, it's wonderful. It's a great adventure at this time in my life," Jones said.

Despite the lackluster performance of "Ted 2," there is no denying that there is still sufficient interest in the franchise. Just a few weeks ago, director Seth MacFarlane was still contemplating whether he should proceed with "Ted 3." He said in an interview with Collider that "Ted 3" will only happen as long as fans want to see more of the animated Teddy Bear.

"It's all based on appetite," he said. "If 'Ted 2' does as well as the first one, it means people want to see more of these characters. If that happens, then there would likely be a 'Ted 3.' The franchise, to me, is one that's more character-based than premise-based."

"If you look at it like episodes in television, if you have characters that people like and they want to see them, again and again, you can tell any number of different stories. If there's a desire for it, than yeah, we would do a 'Ted 3.'"

Now, the other question that remains is, if Mila Kunis will return. Everyone knows for a fact that Mila Kunis was one of the reasons why the first film captivated a lot of audience. As of the moment, Mila has yet to comment regarding this matter but she will definitely be a welcome addition to the next film.
