K-Pop Crossover: Eric Nam Interviews Imagine Dragons Ahead Of Group's Seoul Concert

While spending time in Seoul ahead of their concert performance on Thursday, American band Imagine Dragons took a few moments to say "hello" to Korean fans thanks to Korean solo singer Eric Nam.

Nam, a popular MC and interviewer in South Korea, spent time with the band during their visit to Seoul and had them interact with their Korean fans using the newly introduced Naver V App. Via the live broadcasting app, Imagine Dragons spoke directly to their Korean audience.

Eric shared a short video of the band on August 13.

"We love Seoul," said vocalist Dan Reynolds. "We love all the people of Seoul. And Hello!"

Drummer Daniel Platzman added that he thought Korea's traditional food kimchi "is delicious."

The video included Reynolds trying a Korean custard cream snack.

"It looks like a small muffin," Reynolds said as he began to eat the snack. "It's a good six-seven," out of ten.

Nam jumped back in and wrapped up the short clip, saying, "Imagine Dragons are in Seoul tonight. If you guys are around, come check them out. Bye."

Nam previously made use of the V app at KCON LA, where he live streamed part of his fan meeting at the LA Convention Center.

Naver's V App allows Korean celebrities to connect with users through direct livestreams. Multiple K-pop stars have used or are lined up to use the real-time broadcasting app in order to reach fans in over 170 nations around the world.

Eric Nam's interview with Imagine Dragons will be made available on Pikicast.
