LeAnn Rimes Getting Obsessed With Her Beauty Routine? To The Point Of Risking Her Health?

LeAnn Rimes has opened up on what it takes to keep her feeling good and looking good. She shared with Into The Gloss her beauty routine that she follows by heart that includes taking prenatal vitamins.

In the interview, she said vitamins make a very big part of her daily intake.

"I'm a big vitamin person," she was quoted by People in saying. "I take like 20 pills in the morning and 20 at night - fish oil, prenatal vitamins, probiotics, biotin. I have an herbalist I work with who has put me on a bunch of different things. I'm very strict about making sure I take them."

Eddie Cibrian's wife may be gulping up prenatal vitamins but she is not pregnant though as she has posted on Twitter just last Tuesday as told in a Yahoo! Health report. The report even said Rimes may be risking her health in taking prenatal vitamins when she's not yet even pregnant.

"Prenatal vitamins are designed specifically to provide pregnant women with extra nutrition to support growth and development of the baby," certified dietitian-nutritionist and CEO of New York Nutrition Group Lisa Moskovitz explained.

Moskovitz said prenatals contain amounts of folic acid and iron beyond what women who are not pregnant need.

Too much folic acid does not pose a health risk but, according to Moskovitz, too much iron may cause digestion problems and depression as well.

Aside from vitamins, LeAnn Rimes also uses three lotions as part of her beauty routine but for a good reason too.

"I've had really bad psoriasis since I was 2," she also told Into The Gloss. "I take a shot every two weeks, and I hate needles, but that's what I had to do to get my skin clear."

The "Coyote Ugly" actress also admitted the need to put seven face products on her face everyday and always going under the tanning machine to get herself some color. She clarified though that all the efforts, including doing boxing, pilates and other workouts, were not just about making herself look good but also feel good.

"Working out, taking care of myself, and knowing that I'm doing the best things for myself and putting healthy things into my body makes me feel beautiful-even on the days when I feel like crap," LeAnn Rimes was cited by Bustle regarding her beauty routine.
