IU is busily preparing for her Japan debut in 2012. As she finish her promotions for ‘You & I,’ she wishes to have a successful debut in Japan.

Loen Entertainment met with EMI Music Japan in beginning of 2012 to discuss plans of a debut album. Even though no final decisions have been made, it appears ‘Good Day’ is a strong candidate to be her debut song. The expected release date is sometime around March.

Even though IU would hold a Japan showcase in January and release a sing in February, there were no confirmed plans regarding her debut due to her busy schedule.

IU will reveal her single in a Japan showcase on January 24.
