‘Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’ Leaked In UAE Ahead Of Its Release Date; Game To Officially Come Out In Two Weeks

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" release date is right around the corner but some gamers from the United Arab Emirates have been given a chance to play that game as early as now after the game has reportedly leaked.

According to Gamepur, the game saw an early release in the Middle East, but mostly in UAE, after some retailers sold the game as early as this weekend.

According to a report, an online user Mtabaana was one of the early bird players of the "leaked" game, where he shared his copy of his "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" PS4 disc ahead of its official release date.

Meanwhile, as previously pointed out, the last title of Hideo Kojima in relation to Konami has been revealed to be his "greatest work" yet.

"I want to reassure fans that I am 100% involved and will continue working on 'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain,' I'm determined to make it the greatest game I've directed to date," Kojima said about the game.

"Thank you for your continued patronage of Konami products and services," Konami officially announced. "The latest title in the Metal Gear series, 'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain,' will be released as planned starting on Tuesday, September 1st, 2015 in North America, Latin America, and Europe, followed by Japan and Asia on Wednesday, September 2nd. Hideo Kojima will remain involved throughout."

Although the undisclosed feud between Kojima and Konami is still unknown, the game developer continues to take blows on the game creator after they removed his name on the cover.

In a previous report by IGN, Neo GAF users pointed out how the studio took out the name of "Hideo Kojima Productions" in the box art of the game.

Release date of "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" is officially scheduled to come out on Sept. 1.
