JYP Entertainment Moves Forward With Lawsuit Against Director Who Delayed 2PM's Comeback

JYP Entertainment announced that they has taken action against the music video director who caused issues during 2PM's latest promotional production period.

On August 16, it was revealed that JYP Entertainment filed a lawsuit against the music video director who withdrew from shooting 2PM's "My House" music video at last minute. JYP filed a 50 million KRW (est. $42,267 USD) against Han Sa Min.

JYP Entertainment's civil suit seeks damages from Han, whose actions led to not only delays in filming and the postponement of 2PM's comeback, but also resulted in a shorter promotional period for the group's latest release.

Han, a director attached to the production agency Dextor Lab, allegedly broke a contract with JYP Entertainment after preparations for 2PM's comeback were underway in order to work with competitor YG Entertainment.

The lawsuit comes after Han cancelled the shoot four days before production was set to begin without any warning. JYP Entertainment hired Naive Creative Production to take over filming, but kept the concept as previously planned.

2PM released the music video for "My House" on June 14.
