Toy Story Land will be opening at Disney.

“Toy Story” is a classic children’s movie by Pixar that made every child’s dream become a reality. Children, before the rise of touchscreens, mobile devices, and video games, would play with toys and pretend they were alive.

The Pixar film made every child’s fantasy come to life, and gave toys their own little world of toy proportions. The main characters Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of Andy’s toys.

Fans will now be able to experience the Toy Story world as Disney Hollywood Studios have announced that Toy Story Land will be one of the new additions to the theme park. An Avatar Land and a Star Wars Land are the two other additions to the park, as reported by Tech Times.

Visitors will reportedly feel like they have been shrunk down to action-figure size in "Andy's backyard" as stated in Disney Parks. Apart from the novelty of being tiny, the new 11-acre addition will also be having attractions to look forward to.

There is going to be a family-friendly roller coaster that will give visitors exciting thrills on the back of goofy Slinky Dog. Another is the Alien Saucers attraction, as inspired by the squeaky little green aliens, where visitors will be taken for a spin on their own saucer ships.

Then there is “Toy Story Mania!” where visitors immerse themselves in a variety of fast-paced games where all the targets are 3D animations. This is an expanded favorite and an additional track will be added to this already popular attraction.

According to Cinema Blend, Toy Story Land isn’t the only thing to look forward to from Disney.

“Toy Story 4” is already in development and they are bringing back at least one of the fan favorites. The upcoming installment into the Toy Story franchise will focus on Woody’s pursuit to find Bo-Peep.

IGN reported that Disney’s Toy Story Land will be opened to the public in 2017.
