Amanda Marcum Enfield's Sizzling Modeling Career Causes Some Fans To Wonder What NCAA Coach Andy Enfield Did So Right

Amanda Marcum Enfield is a 34-year-old former supermodel whose photo has graced the cover of Vogue, Maxim and Elle.

She is also married to Florida Gulf Coast coach Andy Enfield, causing some Florida fans to wonder, exactly how did the rather normal-looking NCAA coach land the supermodel?

"Andy keeps me laughing," Amanda said to the Naples Daily News in 2011. "He's a great person to depend on, and he's a great friend and great father, takes care of his family very well. He's very entertaining and funny, but he's also very responsible."

Marcum Enfield who has also been featured in ads for Armani, Victoria's Secret and L'Oreal, gave up modeling to raise the couple's three children, according to USA Today.

And as for the question of how the basketball coach landed the supermodel?

Enfield gave Marcum a ride from New York to Boston so Amanda could see  the Oklahoma State Cowboys play a second-round NCAA tournament game. The pair hit it off and went on their first date a few days later.

Six months later they were engaged.

Andy Enfield is still a young coach but this year he managed to get his team, the previously unknown Florida Gulf Coast University into the NCAA tournament.

Enfield worked under legendary coaches Mike Dunleavy, Rick Pitino and Leonard Hamilton, according to Yahoo Sports.

And what about the ex-supermodel that's the talk of the Internet this week?

Although in the Naples Daily News interview Amanda Marcum Enfield said she sometimes misses the modeling life, she also has no regrets.

"I'm happy with the choices I made," Marcum Enfield said.
