"Who's that super pretty girl beside 2NE1's CL?"

That was the question that escaped many fan lips upon seeing CL upload the photo shown above.

"Ma main GZB @ponysmakeup," wrote CL to describe the lovely, glowing pink-haired girl appearing with her in the photo.

A quick click though on the Instagram account of @ponysmakeup revealed the girl to be a makeup artist and YouTube sensation PONY.

Known for her beauty that could rival K-Pop girl group members and amazing makeup skills, PONY is the new makeup artist in charge of making CL gorgeous as the 2NE1 leader looks to launch a solo career in the United States.

Over the weekend, CL rolled out her second U.S. single "Doctor Pepper" featuring RiFF RAFF and OG Maco, and she has been performing in various festivals including the Mad Decent Block Party in New York last week.

PONY is no slouch in the popularity department with nearly 800,000 followers on Instagram and 400,000 subscribers on her PONY Makeup YouTube channel.

In fact, seeing CL and PONY side-by-side, some online commenters even began to compare the makeup artist and idol.

"When the make up artist is prettier than the actual idol," "Omg both are gorgeous," and "CL you so pretty girl," said fans in a mix of compliments for both CL and PONY.
