Seth MacFarlane has split from girlfriend Emilia Clarke, according to sources close to the couple.
Seth MacFarlane, comedy writer and creator of Family Guy, apparently split up with his girlfriend, Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke not that long ago. The breakup was apparently mutual with distance being the biggest challenge for the couple.

MacFarlane and Clarke did, however, split as friends, according to a source who spoke with E!.
"They are no longer dating. It was really a location challenge," said the friend of the couple. She has been in Europe shooting Game of Thrones and he is based in California, so it was hard to make it work despite the distance. They have remained friends."
The source also added that it happened some time ago and "it was nothing dramatic."
It is easy to see how time and distance led to the split for MacFarlane and Clarke, both have incredibly busy schedules at the moment.
Aside from promoting the new season of Game of Thrones, the 25-year-old Clarke is also appearing in the Broadway show Breakfast at Tiffany's where she has the lead as Holly Golightly.
MacFarlane has been in LA busy working on his newest film, A Million Ways to Die in the West.
They had been seeing each other since last September when they were seen together at the HBO Emmy party.
MacFarlane hosted the Oscars last month and he and Clarke were still very much together at the time. He reportedly said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Emilia "is an incredibly kind, supremely talented person, and one of the hardest-working people I have ever met."
Unfortunate that they had to split, but both Seth MacFarlane and Emilia Clarke are incredibly talented with promising careers ahead of them. It is doubtful either of them will stay single for long.
