YG Entertainment's (YG) non-profit organization MUJU YG and Seoul Youth Media Center will jointly kick off the 'YG Director Project' on August 25.

YG Director Project's aim is to discover 20 young people with hidden talents who have been unable to receive the needed education to pursue their dreams in the fields of art directing, composing, and writing lyrics.

The youths will receive professional education for 5 months and create their own projects. Many YG employees will also participate in educating the youths in the general system of the entertainment industry. Moreover, YG will give them a tour around the YG headquarters, financially support their activities and education in related fields, and provide them with education certificates.

From August 25 to September 11, young people between the ages of 14 and 19 living in the Seoul metropolitan area will be able to apply for a position in the new program.
