G-Friend Experience Choreography Mishap On 'Show Champion' Stage

G-Friend, a rookie K-pop girl group, acted professionally after a slight mishap during a recent performance.

During the August 19 broadcast of MBC's "Show Champion," G-Friend was just starting their performance when member Yerin was unable to complete a move that included jumping over other members. The vault-like dance move resulted in a split second of concern before the group returned to its normal choreography.

Despite the incident, G-Friend continued the performance of their comeback song, "Me Gustas Tu," with seemingly no injury to Umji, who fell after the incident.

Fans commented on G-Friend's social media to show concern for the members and requests for the choreography to be changed in order to avoid more issues.

During the same episode, G-Friend incidentally celebrated the birthdays of both members involved, Yerin and Umji.

G-Friend is a six member girl group that debuted in January with the song "Glass Bead." Their follow-up track, "Me Gustas Tu," was released on July 23, off of their EP "Flower Bud" and the group has been promoting it ever since. The group have been praised for their innocent image and have garnered comparisons to K-pop heavyweight Girls' Generation.
