Jimmy Fallon Injury News: Host Chips Tooth Following Finger Freak Accident

Jimmy Fallon got himself in the news again for another injury. This time though it was a trip to the dentist instead of a hospital.

In a report on Entertainment Tonight, it was mentioned that the TV show host took to social media to share that he got his tooth chipped off.

"Chipped front tooth trying to open tube of scar tissue repair gel for recovering finger injury," he captioned on a picture on Instragram. "Thank you Dr. Jobe DDS!"

Jimmy Fallon used the hashtag "#BestSummerEver" for his latest injury to hit the news.

His fans and followers couldn't help but send him well-wishes online and hope this would be the last injury he'll have to go through.

Just two months ago, the TV show host also figured in a freak accident. As reported by Entertainment Weekly then, Fallon trip over a rug and almost ripped off his finger. Taping for the "Tonight Show" even had to be cancelled to give him a chance to recover. The injury came at a time that the show was bound for a two-week Fourth of July hiatus.

When he came back on air again, the host explained to his audience what exactly happened in June.

"So basically what happened is, I tripped and fell in my kitchen on a braided rug that my wife loves and I can't wait to burn it to the ground," he explained as quoted by Us Weekly. "I tripped and fell and I caught my fall... I'm getting up and my finger is sideways."

"Apparently the odds aren't great with these things," he added. "This happens a lot and the odds are not - usually they're just gonna cut your finger off."

Jimmy Fallon had luck on his side at that time as the news reports revealed. His doctor was able to fix his finger injury. He still got it though in a small cast as it heals.
