Ellen DeGeneres’ TV Show Dance Removed Due To Oprah Returning Rumors? Details Revealed!

Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly feeling threated nowadays. Her TV show, in particular, was purportedly getting an overhaul as rumors circulate that Queen of Talk Oprah may be returning to TV. The apparent first order of business - removing her dance segment!

According to Radar Online insider, the show has been "looking tired" since it first aired in 2003.

"She's even sick of doing her pre-show dance," a source revealed to the source above.

Team Ellen seemingly was laying the groundwork for the changes for some time now as told in the report to be ready just in case Oprah does come back to TV and be a new rival for the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

"Ellen has been discussing this with her team for a while," an insider told the source above. "She's at the top of her game and knows the only way is down and she does not want to be caught napping at the wheel."

Ellen DeGeneres' TV show got great ratings with its number of viewers when it debuted for its season last year. But Celebrity Laundry reported back in April that her show was bumped in the rating by the "Wendy Williams Show." The possible Oprah returning to TV rumors was reportedly another threat to the show.

Among her other plans as cited by Radar Online was also an image makeover. She will apparently keep her signature hairstyle but will opt for fresher look.

"She wants to revamp herself from head to toe as well," notes the insider. "She'll still stick to her masculine styling and signature cropped hair, but she really wants to freshen up her whole image."

"The Oprah Winfrey Show" signed off in 2011 after half a century on air.

"I won't say goodbye, I'll just say, until we meet again," she said then.

In 2013, she told to Steve Harvey in an interview that she missed doing the show. DeGeneres, meanwhile, has admitted in the past that Oprah will always be the "Queen of Talk."

"I don't think I could be here without her," DeGeneres pointed out in 2009 as quoted by Us Weekly. "She will always be the Queen of daytime television. She deserves to rest. She has worked really, really hard."

The 13th season of Ellen DeGeneres' TV show will return on air on Sept. 8 on NBC. According to Variety, her guests include Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, reality star Caitlyn Jenner and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai. Oprah retuning to TV though has yet to be confirmed by her camp.
