The female singer Mi Woo who piqued fan interest after lending her voice to LeeSsang's new track "Kaleidoscope" will be debuting on September 4, reports The Korea Herald.

At first fans did not recognize Mi Woo but upon the revelation of her face as part of the debut announcements, but those who watched The Voice of Korea will have seen her auditioning as Woo Hye Mi.

"Mi Woo, who prepared for her debut for three years, is the first singer that our agency is showing. We are sure Mi Woo will be one of the singers who has great singing skills and high potential," Mi Woo's agency said over the weekend.

Mi Woo has also been revealed to be budding songwriter. The agency said she composed her upcoming debut single.

LeeSsang tapped Mi Woo's talented vocals for their latest comeback single last month. The hip-hop duo - which consists of Gary and Gil - released the digital single "Kaleidoscope," ending their three-year hiatus.

The collaboration seems to benefit both LeeSsang and Mi Woo, with the duo revealed to be producing and writing all the songs in Mi Woo's upcoming debut.

In the coming fall, the duo plan to release solo albums, with Gary reported to be returning next month and Gil the month after in October.
