Sometimes, when you’re just hanging out in the sauna at your gym, you’re too relaxed to realize that everyone else around you is getting ready to close up shop.

That’s exactly what happened to L.A. Fitness goer Nicholas Clayton, who had his headphones in while chilling at the sauna, only to leave and realize that he was locked in with no one to help him out of the gym.

To be fair, what gym closes at 5p.m.? Come on, L.A. Fitness.

Instead of calling the police like he mentioned in the video, Clayton grabbed his phone and called his mom, who may not have been the most helpful.

“I’ve survived. Barely. I started by calling my Mom. She couldn’t stop laughing, so I ended that phone call. Thankfully, another L.A. Fitness was still open. Again, more chuckling,” wrote Clayton on his Facebook page.

“Told them I really didn’t want the police to ended up coming up and questioning me if there was an alarm. They had to call the management of the particular location and finally told me it would be fine to exit. Truly…like something out of a damn movie. Unreal.”
