5 K-Pop Stars Who Could Totally Rock Out With Bon Jovi

American rock icons Bon Jovi will be returning to South Korea for the first time in over 20 years this September for a concert at Seoul's Jamsil Stadium.

And that news made us wonder, in a country where the music scene is largely dominated by bright-eyed K-pop idols, which Korean stars would be able to hold there own with the legendary rock band?

Here's who we think would be up to the challenge:

Jung Joon Young

When you think of Bon Jovi and K-Pop, Jung Joon Young immediately comes to mind. Covering both Bon Jovi's "Bed of Roses" and "Always," Jung Joon Young seems to be quite the Bon Jovi fanboy, and who could blame him? One can only imagine what it might be like to see these two acts on stage together.

Roy Kim

Roy Kim and Jung Joon Young made a name for themselves when they auditioned for Superstar K4 with their rock version of "Becoming Dust." Think what amazing things would come from a Roy Kim-Bon Jovi collaboration; the world might never be the same.

Ailee

Bon Jovi has recorded more than a few duets with popular female artists over the years and Ailee's powerhouse vocals seem tailor-made to compliment the band's edgy rock vibe. The level of goosebump-inducing feelings this pairing could give fans is almost mind-blowing.

FT Island

Of all the K-Pop bands out there, FT Island seem to harness the attitude and sentiment most often reflected in Bon Jovi's work. When you add to that the thought of Lee Hongki's incredible vocals melding with Jon Bon Jovi's, you've got every rock-loving, K-Pop fan's dream come true.

Eddy Kim

This talented singer-songwriter-guitarist was another one of the finalists on Superstar K4 and, like his fellow contestants, his talent could bring something unique to a collaboration with the American band. Imagine a Bon Jovi remake of Eddy Kim's "Apologize" along the lines of BTS's Mo-Blue remix of "Danger." Wow.

Though none of these collaborations are set to happen, it's always fun to imagine what it would be like if one of the world's greatest rock acts teamed up with one of the many talented artists in the K-Pop world.
