Rivals Girls' Generation And Wonder Girls Have A Friendly Meeting During Recent V App Broadcast

K-Pop fans following Naver's "V" app were treated to a day's worth of excitement this past Sunday, with multiple popular groups and actors taking over the app to greet their fans.

Most notably, rival girl groups Girls' Generation and Wonder Girls came together during Girls' Generation's 3PM broadcast. Although the two groups are often pitted against each other, the members are actually incredibly friendly with one another.

According to Korea Herald, the broadcast began with Girls' Generation member Seohyun playfully sneaking up on the Wonder Girls before inviting them to her own group's dressing room.

With all twelve girls in the dressing room (eight from Girls' Generation and four from Wonder Girls), they talked about their current activities, complimenting one another on their latest music videos despite being competitors, and even compared notes on makeup and outfits.

Both Wonder Girls and Girls' Generation made comebacks this past month. On August 3, Wonder Girls released their Reboot album, marking their first comeback after 3 years. The girl group completely made over their image, taking on a band concept along with a member switch. Meanwhile, Girls Generation made a double comeback on August 19 with "Lion Heart" and "You Think." Both groups have been busy with their promotions since.
