Iggy Azalea revealed during a recent interview that Britney Spears' handling of fame and normality gives her hope about leading a normal life. 

"I definitely think it's good to see Britney managing with the most extreme fame you could possibly ever have and being okay," Iggy told The Fix. 

"That's got to be claustrophobic. I know I feel claustrophobic sometimes so to see her surviving with a fairly normal private life gives me hope."

The revelation has sparked rumors on social media that the "Fancy" singer is inching closer to depression, given the loss in her popularity following the release of her 2014 track. The Australian rapper, however, has also announced plans for releasing new hits next year, dispelling speculation that she's considering ending her career. 

Iggy Azalea recently faced off against her fiancé Nick Young on Sunday during a new episode of Lip Sync Battle. 

The "Fancy" singer, wearing tight white jeans and a black and white jacket, twerked on stage, making fans roar. Watch a video of her performance here.

She also recently commented on her alleged feud with Britney Spears over the trajectory of their "Pretty Girls" track. 

"I am honestly not surprised but still really saddened that the media is trying to create a 'beef' between [Spears] and myself," she posted on Twitter.

"We remain friends and I haven't said anything negative at all about her ... I feel like the media wants women in music to get out and mud wrestle each other. As a woman I take great offense." 

Earlier rumors suggested that the two singers were fighting over the failure of their song to remain on the top of the charts.
