Group Big Bang member Daesung has been chosen to be an MC for Japan MTV's new show program.

Big Bang Daesung will be hosing with MTV VJ Boo for a 5 episode variety show program called, 'D-LITE & VJ Boo D'splay'.

This program will begin next month on April13 and will air every two weeks on Saturday at 6:30 PM.

YG Entertainment stated, "Daesung and VJ Boo are very close friends. They will be showing off their friendship through the show as they cook and do other fun things."

This show will also be revealing news about his first solo concert that is to be held on March 30-31 at the Tokyo Budokan.

Daesung commented, "I am nervous as this is my first time being an MC. I hope to show fans my real and fun side through this show."

On March 23-24, Daesung officially began his first Japan tour, 'D-LITE D'scover TOUR 2013 IN JAPAN~DLIVE~'.

Daesung will be continuing his tour until this June with 19 cities and 25 concerts.

Daesung recently released his first solo Japan album, D'scover. It features 12 songs in total with 10 of the songs being Japan songs that were edited and re-recorded to fit Daesung's music style. 2 songs will be his own songs.

He has also ranked number 2 on the Oricon charts with his new album and gained much attention.

With so many requests for him to add more concerts to his tour, they finally decided to add 17 cities and 21 performances to his tour. 

They chose cities that Big Bang has not even gone to before or places that would usually be too far and out of reach to hold concerts.
