The report says Mitchell does not want Swift playing her in the movie.

"Joni is adamant about two things: getting back to playing music and having control over the movie. And, Joni is absolutely sure she does not want Taylor Swift to portray her in her life story," a source told The National Enquirer.

The Mitchell movie is on hold while the singer recuperates. The Joni Mitchell biopic has been in the works for three years now.

"Joni did in fact suffer an aneurysm," reads the statement on JoniMitchell.com. "However, details that have emerged in the past few days are mostly speculative. The truth is that Joni is speaking, and she's speaking well. She is not walking yet, but she will be in the near future as she is undergoing daily therapies."

Berkeley singer/songwriter Green Huse brought together a group of musical friends to interpret the music of Joni Mitchell at the Berkeley Arts Festival space on University Avenue The concert focused on material from the classic albums Blue, Ladies of the Canyon, For the Roses and Court and Spark.

This is the first time Huse performed a concert devoted to another artist's work.

"I pulled out the Joni songbook and started playing and listening to her stuff again," Huse told Berkeleyside.

"I've never had the confidence to perform them. They might sound simple but they're hard. I started to think that putting on a show would be a way to really delve into this material. The next day, without us talking about it, my partner said, why don't you do a Joni show?"
