Girls' Generation Involved In Minor Car Accident, No Injuries Reported

The car that Girls' Generation were riding en route to a broadcast network experienced a small collision, but all the members remained safe, reports Koreaboo.

On August 27, Girls' Generation were heading to CJ E&M studios in order to record a performance for the music show M! Countdown when their vehicle bumped into something.

"Because of construction nearby, the girls were involved in a small collision. Fortunately, no one was hurt and the members finished their performance successfully," assured SM Entertainment.

Despite the minor car accident, the girls were able to appear on the show and perform. In fact, they were able to secure their third music show trophy on M! Countdown, beating popular South Korean ballad trio SG Wannabe.

The next couple of days after the minor car accident saw Girls' Generation grab a couple of more trophies to bring their total win count to five.

Girls' Generation returned with the album Lion Heart on August 18 and 19.

Members such as Tiffany and Taeyeon have been filling up their social media accounts with thank-you messages to fans that are helping make their first comeback as eight members and first album since 2013's I Got A Boy a success.
