Jimmy Fallon has reportedly gone back to the hospital to take care of his finger injury. The news was revealed on his social media account.

Two months after his finger freak accident, "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon continues his road to recovery. He even shared a good news on social media about the state of his finger injury.

"Looking good," he replied when asked about his injured finger on Friday on Twitter. "I got the pin out today."

The Jimmy Fallon injury news update came just two months after the TV host almost ripped his finger off after tripping on a rug at his home in June.

"Tripped and caught my fall (good thing)!" he posted back in June. "Ring caught on side of table almost ripped my finger off (bad thing)."

After a two-week hiatus, he explained on his first day back at the "Tonight Show" exactly what happened. According to the host, as cited by Us Weekly, his ring got caught on the countertop when he tripped and he almost lost a finger.

The host further said that he suffered from "ring avulsion" and even gave a grave warning to everyone listening not to attempt to go online and search what it means.

"Apparently the odds aren't great with these things," he also said. "This happens a lot and the odds are not -- usually they're just gonna cut your finger off."

The TV host was lucky and the doctors were able to fix him. But a week ago, he underwent another freak accident, chipping his tooth while trying to get his medication for the finger injury.

The Jimmy Fallon injury news were not the only issues that have hit the TV host this summer. Aside from divorce rumors, an alleged cover-up on his injury also bombarded the host after the police refused to release the 911 call for his medical emergency. But there was also a silver lining for the personality this summer as NBC locked a deal for him to host the "Tonight Show" up to 2021.
