Psy To Speak At Upcoming Media Conference Alongside New York Times, Forbes CEOs

Psy will serve as one of the speakers in a high-profile media conference in Seoul, South Korea on September 21, reports The Korea Herald.

Titled "Know Way Out," the media conference has not only invited the "Gangnam Style" artist but also other popular media personalities.

Among those confirmed to be speaking at the conference are New York Times CEO Mark Thompson, Forbes Media CEO Michael Perlis and CNN International news anchor Kristie Lu Stout. These veteran media executives and journalists will be sharing their viewpoints on their respective fields.

The conference will also feature a discussion on the shifting trends in the media industry with representatives from Japan's Nihon Keizai Shimbun and the International News Media Association providing valuable insight on the topic.

The media conference will be held at the Dongdaenum Design Plaza, a major urban landmark in Seoul that was famously designed by Zaha Hadid and Samoo.

Psy's participation in the media conference comes as his smash hit "Gangnam Style" continues to dominate YouTube three years after its release, with the music video for the viral hit recently reaching a new YouTube milestone of 2.4 billion views.

While the two recent releases of Psy can be argued to be relatively tepid compared to the popularity of "Gangnam Style," the South Korean artist has undeniably achieved international success. Psy has tied popular boy group Big Bang for the most number 1 hits on Billboard's World Digital Songs Chart.
