MTV Anticipates Lee Hi's New Comeback with 'Rose'

Lee Hi has been gaining much interest from overseas for her new song, "Rose."

With just one day before the song's release, U.S. MTV revealed their excitement and anticipation.

MTV released an article for their K-Pop column and spotlighted Lee HI's new album.

MTV-K stated, "Lee Hi's second title song will be released soon. Her second title song, 'Rose,' is part of her new album, First Love. We can already sense that this new song will be a hit as well."

They continued, "In the teaser video, she revealed her sophisticated and mature image. The rose and the thorns featured in the video also express how love can be both sweet and hurtful."

Earlier this month, MTV also spotlighted Lee Hi for her song, "It's Over." They had stated, "Rookie artist Lee Hi has finally comeback with a new album. Her title song 'It's Over' revealed her cute and young image."

Her new song, "Rose" is a message to men who think women are easy. The lyrics for this song seem to be a bit mature for a 16 year old, but Lee Hi pulls it off well.

Her new album will officially release on March 28.

Lee Hi debuted last year through YG Entertainment and became a huge hit. Her emotional and deep vocals surprised everyone as it was coming from a 16 year old girl.

She first appeared as a contestant on an audition program called "K-Pop Star" and made it as a runner up.

She first debuted through Epik High's comeback as she featured for their song, "It's Cold."

Since then, she has continued to stay popular and has been called the 'monster rookie' for her great vocals and growth as a singer.

She is also popular around the world and is known for her soulful and R&B vibe sound.
