f(x) Rapper Amber Thanks Fans For Supporting 'Crazy' Dream As Group Celebrates 6th Anniversary

f(x) rapper Amber Liu showed her heart on her sleeve by thanking fans with a heartfelt message as the group commemorated their 6th anniversary since debut.

f(x) held their first broadcast performance on September 5, 2009 on MBC's Music Core and since then the group has released three full albums, two EPs and a Japanese single.

Amber became nostalgic on the eve of their 6th anniversary since that first performance, giving all f(x) fans a virtual hug through a touching Instagram post.

"Seven years ago, I decided to jump on a plane and come to Korea to chase my dream. People called me crazy. Though there was a lot of bs that people gave me, YOU, the fans, have helped me fulfill that dream," wrote Amber.

"You guys propel me to do things I would have never guessed I'd be doing. f(x) wouldn't be anything without you guys! Thanks so much!" she added.

Amber also tried to build up anticipation for the group's upcoming comeback and their first promotions run as a quarter after member Sulli was reported to have departed from the group to focus on acting.

"f(x) is gunna be doper than ever. We got you! Our team is stronger than ever and we gunna be back with a BANG. HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY TO F(X)! YAAAY!" said Amber.

f(x) has been reported to start filming their comeback next week, but the exact date of their album release and promotions have not been revealed, only that it will take place "within this year," according to their agency SM Entertainment.
