BIGSTAR Make Long Awaited Return With 'Moonlight Sonata'

The wait for BIGSTAR's comeback is finally over!

On September 3, BIGSTAR's latest music video for "Moonlight Sonata" was revealed through Brave Entertainment's YouTube account. According to a report by News Daily producer Brave Brothers described the song as, "a trendy hip-hop R&B song that combines masculine sexiness and sweet words, guaranteed to steal the hearts of fans."

True to his word, "Moonlight Sonata" has a cool, mature sound. It combines different elements of rap and singing into one smooth piece that's both easy and fun to listen to. The music video matches the relaxed and romantic tempo of the song as it features the members of BIGSTAR cruising down an open highway in a sleek looking car. Interspersed throughout the clips of them driving are segments of the group's dance which adds another enticing element to the video, keeping viewers hooked.

"Moonlight Sonana" marks BIGSTAR's first Korean comeback in two years. Luckily for fans, "Moonlight Sonata" is the one track from the group's mini-album that was not banned by SBS, KBS, and MBC. The rest of the songs from Shine a Moonlight were deemed unfit for broadcast for suggestive lyrics or for using swearwords, according to an article by XSports News.

As the group will be performing on stage for the first time in two years the members shared their feelings with New Daily. "We missed the [Korean] stage badly," Leader FeelDog expressed. "Since we know the feeling of desperation for performing on stage we promise to work hard and show fans a really good performance."

BIGSTAR debuted in 2012 and had their last official Korean promotion cycle in 2013. They will carry out their "Moonlight Sonata" promotions starting with Music Bank. Check out the music video below:
