Ciara recently commented on her abstinent dating relationship with boyfriend and Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson, mentioning that they both mutually support their decision to refrain from having sex. 

"You know, when Russell talked about it, he was being honest. For what it's worth I think there are so many people like us," the singer told E! Online at the MTV Video Music Awards. "We get to share real things. We're real people.

"I run into different people and they'll talk to me about their journey and their relationships, so I think that's been really cool and it's a healthy thing," she continued. "It's a healthy conversation we all get to have as adults. I'm not sweating it at all."

Earlier this summer, her ex-husband Future commented on her abstinence with Wilson, making jokes about their lifestyle choice. 

"God told me something else. He ain't tell me to wait. I guarantee you that," he said during a recent HuffPost Live interview. 

"We prayed afterwards though. After we did it, we prayed. That's a true story."

Nonetheless, Ciara and Russell Wilson are rumored to get engaged in coming months.

The Seattle Seahawks star made comments during a recent interview that have sparked speculation about wedding bells. Wilson made an appearance during The Dan Patrick Show and talked about his ongoing relationship.

When asked "what comes first, a Super Bowl ring or an engagement ring?" he replied, "I don't know, hopefully both." 

Although neither Ciara nor Wilson have hinted at marriage, the couple seems to be deeply in love. 

Ciara is 29 years old.
