2AM singer Jo Kwon alarmed fans after he posted a dark and depressing cartoon image on Instagram which displayed a person struggling with self-cutting.

On the night of September 4, Jo Kown shared an ink drawing of a person writing the word "HAPPY" on his wrists. What alarmed fans was that some strokes were marked in red, suggesting wrist cuts that are symbolic of someone who likes to injure himself.

Overall, the image gave a grim vibe of a person that is trying to be happy despite going through some pain.

This led fans to ask Jo Kwon if he was okay, and many left encouraging messages for the idol on his Instagram account. Some also urged Jo Kown not to hurt himself as was depicted in his uploaded photo.

"Oppa, are you okay? Fighting!" "We're here! Stay strong. You don't have to bear the burden yourself," and "Please do not hurt yourself! I will be sad and unhappy if you hurt yourself," said concerned fans.

Jo Kwon's action comes after recent news that his 2AM band mate Changmin has signed on to Big Hit Entertainment, leaving the leader as the only one among the four members to remain in JYP Entertainment.

But in prior weeks, Jo Kwon appeared to be having fun while celebrating his 25th birthday with fans and also taking a vacation break at the Carribean Bay water park in Seoul.
