SM Entertainment has already proven itself to be one of (if not the) the most powerful K-pop label in existence currently. Perhaps the label's success allows them a little more room to take risks with concepts.

In the case of their smaller sized groups like SHINee, they certainly seem to be turning up the creep factor as a risk.

Luckily for the faint of heart, the creepiness is usually combined with equal cuteness. Red Velvet, who seemed to capitalize on this style with "Ice Cream Cake" is back with a similar concept for their upcoming single "Dumb Dumb." Fans can check out the brand new creepy yet cute teaser below. The full music video will premiere on Sept. 9.

So far, fans are reacting to the new teaser for "Dumb Dumb" by specifically commenting on the strangeness of the girls' legs sticking out of a box.

"The leg part is extremely creepy," said Kimievou on Instagram.

Other fans are responding to the new teaser with excitement despite the somewhat weird vibe it gives off.

"This is so weird and I may get called weird for listening to it myself, but who cares? I like it," said Nikki Ng on YouTube.

"Dumb Dumb" is the title track from Red Velvet's upcoming full length album "The Red." The album is the group's first full length album and will be released on Sept. 9 at midnight. "Dumb Dumb" was composed by London Noise and features lyrics about a girl who gets awkward and "dumb" in front of her crush.

Watching a bunch of girls' legs extend and almost float from a box may seem extremely strange, but so far it looks like Red Velvet is having no problems making it work.
