'Prison School' Anime Gets Live Action TV Show Trailer Featuring Underground School Council [VIDEO]
Anime that airs late at night is known to be a lot riskier than certain other primetime television shows.
In that way, it's pretty shocking that "Prison School" is going to be adapted into a live action TV series.
Nevertheless, the first trailer for the "Prison School" live action TV series adaptation is now streaming online. The TV series adaptation is set to premiere on Oct. 26, thankfully in a late night time slot. The episode will air on both MBS and TBS in Japan.
While some fans in an ANN forum are very suspicious of the new live action "Prison School" TV series, some are curious as to how it will play out.
"I'm really curious as to how they're going to adapt it," said Justseiyuuloveme.
Anime News Network reports the following Japanese live action TV cast for "Prison School":
Taishi Nakagawa as Kiyoshi

Funimation, who is streaming "Prison School" to fans outside of Japan, describes the anime series as follows:
"Hachimitsu Academy, a prestigious, historically all-girls school, has finally become co-ed. Average teen, Kiyoshi, is one of five boys to enroll. What he doesn't know is that the school is clandestinely ruled by an Underground Student Council of ruthless, cruel, totally hot female students!"
It goes on:
"And when the boys get caught peeping, they're sent to the school's prison, which is run by the brutally seductive warden, who also happens to be the VP of the Underground Student Council. After the boys are forced endure manual labor, whips, and chains, they'll be left wishing they were locked up with actual criminals!"
