Emma Watson is determined to become a serious movie actress, which means that she even has to work during Labor Day weekend! The actress, who just wrapped up filming “Colonia Dignidad”, is ramping up for the next filming, “The Circle”, starring Tom Hanks.

This also means that she is ready to leave behind boyfriend speculations and rumors to focus on her new movie project.

According to Daily Mail, “Emma Watson… [flew] into Los Angeles on Monday, ready to start work on Tom Hanks's new movie, The Circle. The 25-year-old was decked out entirely in black, including a chic biker-style leather jacket over a V-neck T-shirt and skinny jeans tucked into high-rise boots.”

Looks like “Beauty and the Beast” actress is taking her fashion as seriously as her career.

In fact, she may be bracing herself for the upcoming Oscars season. She even departed from her glamorous roles and got “dowdy” to get herself a step towards Oscars and away from her ex boyfriend Matt Janney drama.

According to Glamour, the actress said, "It's the hardest part I've ever had to play. But also the most satisfying. It felt like the right thing to do."

Whether she is talking about the breakup with her boyfriend or her performance in “Colonia Dignidad”, it looks like Emma Watson went through a lot in the past few years.

According to a source, "Emma is determined to distance herself from Harry Potter and this is her big push to be taken seriously. She gives an amazing performance and is being tipped as an Oscar contender. She is dowdy in this movie - she's undergone a make-under."

Emma Watson opened up about her breakup with ex boyfriend Matthew Janney and that didn’t sound easy either. In fact, according to E! Online, “Beauty and the Beast” star called her breakup "horrendous."

She said, "I felt really uncomfortable. Even before my relationship ended, I went on a silent retreat because I really wanted to figure out how to be at home with myself."

So Emma Watson “reportedly spent a week at a private facility in Canada's Rocky Mountains and took a week-long vow of silence.”

But with “Colonia Dignidad” out in cinemas soon, poised for Oscars 2015, Emma Watson may find a good distraction away from her love life.
