Ariana Grande Tour Resumes After Doctor Mistakes The Diva For a ‘Bullet Proof B*tch’; Grande Stands Up Against Gender Inequality With Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez

Ariana Grande is resuming her "Honeymoon Tour" after taking to Twitter to cancel west coast shows.

Ariana Grande announced on Twitter that she is feeling better and ready to perform again. 'Break Free' hitmaker had to cancel her show at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, northern California on Sunday. Grande rescheduled for Thursday along with a show in Chula Vista.

Grande tweeted that her doctors were surprised at her quick recuperation.

"My doctor looked at my vocal chords today after a week of coughing and months straight of singing and called me a 'bullet proof b***h' (sic)."

"despite being horribly sick my chords are pretty & perfectly healthy! no idea how but damn I'm thanking the heavens!! thank u lordtt! ...

Grande played 65 shows since she opened her Honeymoon Tour in Independence, Missouri, on February 25.

'Sacramento I'm so so so sorry that I'm unable to perform for you tonight," Grande tweeted after she cancelled Sacramento.

"I'm just too sick... I never want to disappoint you. Rescheduling the show for Thursday and I really hope I can make it up to you then... & I love you so so much."

Ariana, who has been in the new for licking donuts and recently hit back at claims she is a "diva."

"I do see myself as a fairly positive, very friendly person. So it's kind of odd. I also think a lot of people don't know what the word "diva" means," she said.

"If you want to call me a diva I'll say, "Um, well, cool." Barbra Streisand is a diva; that's amazing. Celine Dion is a diva; thank you. But if you want to call me a b***h, that's not accurate. Because it's just not in my nature."

Grande recently declared she wants to live in a world where people are not valued by their significant other or who they are attached to, "but by their value as an individual."  eGirl Power seeks to make that goal a reality, not just here in the US, but across all borders.

Ariana Grande champions the gender equality cause with a sisterhood of support, including other celebrities such as Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, eGirl Power seeks to rally a groundswell of support for the millions of girls in developing countries who don't yet have a voice of their own.

"No woman belongs to any other person but herself," Ariana Grande tweeted as a mantra. That message goes hand-in-hand with the mission of eGirl Power, a non-profit program that seeks to empower and educate females throughout the world.

eGirl Power is raising awareness of the profound  gender inequality that exists throughout many developing countries. The non-profit program supports gender equality and girls' education in developing countries.

eGirl Power was founded by Amy Mintz. Mintz grew up overseas, and at a young age became aware that in many impoverished countries, an education is a privilege, not a right.

eGirl Power believes educated girls are one of the most powerful agents for social change.  Not only will an education change the life of each girl, but it benefits the whole family, and eventually the entire nation. An educated girl will become a woman who is healthier, able to earn more income, and provide better healthcare and education for her own children, according to UNICEF. This is key to breaking the intergenerational chain of poverty. That's why eGirl Power's mission is to raise awareness and ensure that every girl has access to education.

The statistics are grim when it comes to gender equality in many developing countries. More than 62 million girls are currently not in school simply because of their gender.

More than 82 million girls face the prospect of child marriage, and most of these girls will never complete secondary school. In some developing countries, nearly half of the female population will become mothers before 18. And an estimated 100 million girls are subjected to child labor, including extreme exploitation such as slavery and human trafficking.

Grande became the first woman in history and the first artist since Michael Jackson to simultaneously have three songs-"Problem", "Break Free" featuring Zedd, and "Bang Bang" with Nicki Minaj and Jessie J-in the Top 6 of the Digital Songs Chart. "Bang Bang" went platinum and was Grammy-nominated for "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance."
