Taylor Kitsch and Rachel McAdams have denied the dating rumors about them. But now, a report has surfaced that the rumored couple have just reportedly split.

As cited by Classicalite, the distance became detrimental to the rumored blooming romance.

"Taylor grew close to Rachel... but he hightailed it as soon as they stopped filming!" an insider revealed to The National Enquirer.

The source even revealed that neither of the rumored couple were purportedly willing to transfer homes to be together.

"Taylor isn't willing to pull up stakes and move to L.A," the insider added. "As much as she adores Taylor, she has no time for a long-distance relationship."

Both "True Detective" stars have yet to address the latest rumor about them.

But prior to the Taylor Kitsch Rachel McAdams dating rumors, the Austin, Texas-based actor has expressed that he's not down with long distance relationships.

"You sacrifice so f****n' much [as an actor]," he told Elle Magazine in June. "How do you build a relationship with a gal and then tell her, 'Hey, I gotta do press all over the world. I expect you to have the same feelings you have now in eight weeks.' And that's not me playing the violin. It's my choice. But it better be worth sacrificing for."

Reports that the "True Detective" co-stars were apparently dating first surfaced in July. It was said that they've been friends for a while before romance entered the scene.

"It hasn't been long," a source told Us Weekly then. "But it's serious."

The "True Detective" pair were even pictured back then having brunch. An onlooker even told Dish Nation that the pair was "canoodling."

When directly asked about the dating rumors, McAdams was evasive.

"It's funny the things the Internet likes to proclaim," she told Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier. "[It's the] weird, weird, bizarre, surreal side of it but I guess you just have to laugh at it at a certain point."

Her "True Detective" co-star, Kitsch, went straight to the point though.

"There is no record," he told ET Canada about the dating rumors.

"There is nothing to set straight, she's an amazing actress and a great gal," Taylor Kitsch said about Rachel McAdams back in July.
