EXO Fans Criticized For Behavior During Taping Of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'

Fans are often barred from bringing cameras into concerts and events, but at a June taping for Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook, plenty of EXO fans still brought cameras and tried to snap photos.

This disobedient behavior, which was belatedly described on popular Korean forum boards Instiz, brought a mountain of criticism to EXO fans, reports Koreaboo.

"There were so many cameras confiscated even when fans were told not to bring their cameras. The number of the cameras are unbelievable," said the original Instiz poster. "EXO-Ls, please stop what you're told not to do."

EXO fans are becoming notorious for the extreme behavior of some of their members, especially in fan meetings and tapings.

In January, some EXO fans became so chaotic during a fan meeting that members like Baekhyun and D.O even had to personally calm the crowd. Fans were reportedly pushing each other and some were even being hurt, which forced the group to leave the stage at one point in an effort to restore order.

This follows a decision made in August 2013 where EXO fans were banned from attending live tapings for the SBS music show Inkigayo. Certain overzealous fans were exhibiting "extreme, dangerous fan behavior" which led producers to issue the fandom-wide ban, citing safety concerns.
