On the 10th, Dream T Entertainment, home of popular K-pop girl group Girl's Day, revealed that they are planning on debuting a male idol group towards the end of the year.

Revealing their name to be M.A.P.6, the group will consist of five members.

In addition, the name M.A.P.6, pronounced as individual letters, represents the five oceans and six continents that they hope to influence by becoming top stars. 

The group is planning to collaborate with agency and labelmates Girl's Day from September 10th to September 13th, as well as September 19-30, by performing on stage with them in Osaka at their Japan concert so they can build experience performing on stage.

An affiliate of Dream T stated that M.A.P.6 will gain experience in promoting and communicate with fans along with Girl's Day while doing activities in Japan. 

M.A.P.6's exact debut date has not been set, but netizens speculate a November debut.
