Lindsay Lohan will only agree to attend 'lockdown' rehab if the facility would allow her to continue taking Adderall. Lohan made this demand during plea negotiations for her case in which she lied to cops.

Lohan was sentenced to spend three months in a 'lockdown' facility after she was caught lying to cops during an investigation into a Malibu, CA car crash last July.

A source told TMZ that Lindsay Lohan has taken Adderall daily for years, as she believes that she needs it to function. Adderall is used to treat Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and is misused for various other purposes including recreational use.

TMZ reported that Lohan was completely serious in her demand that the court needed to attach Adderall to her plea-deal. If the court denies the Adderall demand, Lohan stated that she will take her chances at court.

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer, Mark Heller, allegedly assured her that she could find a lockdown rehab facility that would allow for her Adderall demand.

However, it's unclear how Heller will be able to deliver on his promise; there is no such thing as a lockdown rehab facility, let alone one that would allow her to take the drug while in treatment for prescription drug and alcohol abuse.

Lindsay, when she was jailed in 2010, had a doctor prescribe her Adderall while she was imprisoned although her ADHD diagnosis is considered to be a sham.

Many members of Lindsay Lohan's family believe Adderall was the cause of Lindsay's downward spiral.

She has already spent time in rehab and a woman's prison for previous charges, but given that most rehab facilities treat on a voluntary basis, Lohan frequently left and returned to her partying ways.

Because of Lohan's outlandish demand for Adderall, prosecutors are allegedly re-evaluating what to do with Lindsay. Although nothing has yet been decided, the 26-year-old's case could easily return to court, where the judge may be forced to give a new verdict.

Lohan doesn't seem to be stressing out about her case; she has been enjoying her last few days of freedom partying it up in Brazil.

The Mean Girls star has been in Brazil since Thursday, after being paid to launch John John Denim's flagship Sao Paulo store.
