3 Members Of Girls' Generation End Relationships In 2015

Is the "Dating Generation" coming to an end?

In 2014, K-pop girl group Girls' Generation made headlines with the news that several members were dating. In 2015, three of those relationships have ended.

Members Taeyeon, Tiffany, and YoonA each revealed the end of their relationship with another K-pop celebrity this year, putting an end to a period when the majority of Girls' Generation's members were in a relationship.

Taeyeon and EXO's Baekhyun ended their relationship, after around 14 months of being together. The pair ended things due to their busy schedules, industry insiders revealed on Sept. 15. Other insiders said that the pair had broken up and reunited in the past.

In August, Korean news outlets reported that YoonA and singer-actor Lee Seung Gi had ended their relationship, also due to busy schedules. SM Entertainment, Girls' Generation's agency, clarified that the pair need on amiable terms.

Prior to that, in May, Tiffany and 2PM's Nichkhun reportedly also ended their relationship because of busy schedules.

Two other Girls' Generation members, Sooyoung and Yuri, are still in confirmed relationships.

Three other members of the group, Sunny, Seohyun, and Hyoyeon, have not been in any public relationships.

Girls' Generation spent much of 2015 promoting, beginning in April with the Japanese single, "Catch Me If You Can," followed by the release of multiple singles this summer from their album, "Lion Heart." "Lion Heart" was released on Aug. 19.
