October is right around the corner and gamers of the Microsoft console Xbox are excited to see what the free games for the Xbox Live Gold program has in store.

Rumors and predictions from fans and gamers have been going around, asking what could possibly be in the Xbox Live Gold free games list?

A report from Christian Today revealed predictions meant for September that is believed could also be applicable for October, since the said games didn't come out.

According to the report, a big title such as "Fallout 3" could be introduced in preparation for "Fallout 4," basing it on the releases seen in August, wherein "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" was introduced in preparation for "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate," according to the source.

One thing's for sure, "Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition" would still be included for October for the Xbox One since it was announced that it would be available for download from Sept. 16 to Oct. 15, MNR Daily reported.

In addition to that, Xbox One gamers are expected to enjoy more games after Microsoft announced the backwards compatibility of the newest console.

With this, owners of the Xbox One could now play games meant for the Xbox 360, giving them more choices for the Xbox Live Gold free games for October.

For now, gamers of the Microsoft gaming system could enjoy "Crysis 3" as it is available for free download from Sept. 16 until the last day of the month.

Official list of the free games list for the Xbox Live Gold program for the month of October hasn't been released but updates for the list of games shall be reported in the coming days.
