'Rollercoaster Tycoon World' Is Teaming Up With Six Flags For Video Game Development

“Rollercoaster Tycoon World” gameplay video shows off what is to come.

Rollercoasters are a lot of fun to ride, but building them is another story that some gamers would love to venture into. Atari has updated on “Rollercoaster Tycoon World” by releasing a new video previewing the gameplay for the upcoming theme park simulator.

The last “Rollercoaster Tycoon” game was released for PC was “Rollercoaster Tycoon 3” and that was way back in 2004. The anticipation of the upcoming installment is high as it has been more than a decade since the last release from Atari. “Rollercoaster Tycoon World” is set to be released later this year according to Steam.

The exciting collaboration between Six Flags and Atari is something to look forward to especially since Six Flags is known for having some of the craziest rollercoasters around. According to Gamerant, the partnership was made in order to aid the development of the game.

This collaboration didn’t come as a surprise as the “Rollercoaster Tycoon” games had a lot of virtual Six Flags amusement parks to explore Whether or not this helped in bridging Atari and Six Flags together is unknown, however the Six Flag corporation has given the developers in-depth access to some of their most popular attractions.

“Rollercoaster Tycoon World” is the next-generation theme park simulation where the game includes 3D environments full of exciting flat rides, eager guests, robust social features and more. Apart from being able to build a rollercoaster there are multiple game modes with challenges, responsive environments with guests plus innovative services to make the part as realistic as possible.
