Instagram recently reached 400 million users, and among the most recent 100 million users to sign up, Big Bang's T.O.P was highlighted as one of the most popular in terms of follower count.

Having only created his account back in April in preparation for Big Bang's MADE album and world tour comeback, T.O.P has managed to gain 2.6 million followers.

"The most followed accounts that joined in the last 100 million include David Beckham from the UK (@davidbeckham), Caitlyn Jenner (@caitlynjenner) from the US, Indonesia's Raffi and Nagita (@raffinagita1717), German soccer player Toni Kroos (@toni.kr8s) and South Korea's T.O.P (@choi_seung_hyun_tttop)," said Instagram a post commemorating its 400 million user milestone.

Part of T.O.P's popularity on Instagram comes from his interesting posts that go beyond the usual selfies that fill most K-Pop star feeds.

The idol-rapper has uploaded photos of future homes, sculptures, furniture, concept jets, art installations, and other visually interesting objects.

T.O.P also posts very frequently - he has made 708 posts since creating his Instagram account five months ago - which gives followers a lot to look forward to. He is infamous for

T.O.P and G-Dragon released "Zutter" last month, but the duo and the rest of their group have been resting up.

YG Entertainment stars are gaining quite the fan following on Instagram. Earlier this week, 2NE1's Dara also gained attention for hitting 3 million followers.
