K-Pop Artists to Come Together for Biggest K-Pop Concert in Chile on May 19

The Hallyu wave has taken its place in Chile as more and more fans of K-Pop are appearing.

On May 19, Chile will be holding their biggest K-Pop concert yet titled, 'I Love K-Pop with Friends' and will be held a the Movistar Arena.

At this concert, many K-Pop idol groups have come together including U-KISS, ZE:A, After School, Davichi, Rania, Sunny Hill and more. From top stars to rookie artists, they will all come together on one stage.

This concert was made possible by T.W.E.G and the entire production will be directed by Kim Jong Jin, who used to be a former MBC producer and Mnet media CEO.

Kim Jong  Jin commented, "We will use this concert as the starting point for our expansion of K-Pop into South America. After this concert, we hope to spread out and hold more activities here in South America and continue the Hallyu wave."

After Chile, they plan to continue the concert in Peru in August, Mexico in September, Brazil in October and Uruguay in November.

This concert will also be broadcasted through Chile's biggest concert channel, Mega TV.

Many other top K-Pop stars have already made their presence in Chile such TVXQ. Super Junior will also be stopping by while on their upcoming world tour as well.

Group JYJ also took their turn and became the first Korean stand alone group to perform in South America as well. 

Cube Entertainment artists also visited Brazil to perform for their 'United Cube in Brazil' event as well.

Last year, "Music Bank" also held a performance in Chile as well and was broadcasted live around the world for their overseas fans.

As K-Pop spreads more and more, there is to be more concerts and events taking place all over the world. Soon, K-Pop will most likely become a global trend.
