Tickets For Taeyeon's 1st Solo Concert Reportedly Being Re-Sold For Nearly $600 Each

Kim Taeyeon will soon be the first Girls' Generation member to hold a solo concert, and the anticipation has some fans looking to make a profit.

The organizers for SM Entertainment's intimate concert series, The AGIT, recently spoke out against ticket scalpers re-selling their seats for Taeyeon's shows at an incredible mark up.

The concert, titled A Very Special Day For Taeyeon, is scheduled to be held from October 23-25 and again October 30 - November 1 in the Gangnam district of Seoul.

Ticket for the concert officially went on sale on September 23rd at 8PM KST and all six performances had completely sold out within 10 minutes.

More recently, on Korean shopping and auction sites, tickets were seen being re-sold for up to 700,000 KRW, nearly $600 USD.

The concert organizers have stated that if they catch anyone trying to scalp tickets for such exorbitant prices, they will cancel the ticket after confirming the account number of the purchaser. SM Entertainment further stated, "This is not the first time this has happened. Every time we have a concert, there are individuals who purchase tickets for multiple seats and attempt to sell them at a profit. Taeyeon's solo concert is suffering from the same thing."

Anticipation for the concert is running high as Taeyeon is expected to perform songs off her upcoming solo album, marking the first time a Girls' Generation member has stepped into the limelight all alone.

Following Taeyeon's album release and concert series, her group mate Tiffany Hwang is expected to drop a solo album in November.
